We don’t exclusively reserve this space for our hotel guests- locals are also welcome to visit our day spas.

We offer a variety of individually tailored massages and treatments using only natural products by ‘Gertraud Gruber’. Pure relaxation.
Your cozy soft bathrobe is waiting for you in your room. Day spa guests receive a spa bag at our reception desk.
Please note that for sustainability reasons, we do not provide replacement towels. Your large sauna towel will be waiting for you in your room. Day spa guests will find their towel in their sauna bag.
Disposable slippers generate a lot of waste, so we ask you to bring your own slippers.
However, if you forget them, our reception will be happy to help you out!
Water and tea are available in our natural spa at a thermal water drinking fountain and in the Adults Only Alpine Spa.

Enriched with minerals and natural radon, the Gasteiner thermal ponds possess a special healing power and can even help you regenerate after vigorous exercise.

Sendlhofer’s is located in the heart of Bad Hofgastein, in the middle of the Gastein Valley in the Salzburg region. The town center, the Schlossalmbahn cable car, and the Alpentherme spa are just a few minutes’ walk away—perfect for combining nature, thermal waters, and mountain scenery.
As a former spa hotel with access to thermal springs and a spacious natural spa, family spa, and adults-only Alpine spa, we would describe ourselves as a wellness hotel. But we don’t like to pigeonhole ourselves—we are so much more than that.
Sendlhofer’s is one of the few hotels in the Gastein Valley that is still directly connected to natural thermal water springs. In its natural form, the water contains radon, which has been known for centuries for its healing properties—ideal for relaxation, regeneration, and gentle well-being. The radon is removed from the water in our thermal pools. However, you are welcome to experience it during our spa treatments and therapies.
Yes, the Naturspa is not only open to hotel guests. Locals and day visitors can also enjoy a day of relaxation at the Day Spa—including thermal water pools, saunas, and a wellness garden.
In addition to the 400 m² sauna area, Sendlhofer’s offers soothing massages, treatments with Saint Charles natural cosmetics, and a thermal water bathing area with indoor and outdoor pools.
Wellness is in season all year round in the Gastein Valley. In winter, relaxation combines perfectly with skiing, while in summer, mountain hikes and clear air beckon. The thermal water provides warmth and relaxation in every season. But wellness is also possible in spring during the Gastein Yoga Spring and in autumn.
