Family holiday
There’s a lot to discover in the Gasteiner valley. A lot is going on in the Gasteiner mountains: from the forest playground by the Fluseck, the beginners via ferrata by the Schlossalm, interesting mountain creatures, the highest hanging bridge in Europe to the Zirbenmagic in the Zirben forest on the Graukogel. The little ones can experience real adventures trekking with alpacas in the Koetschachtal, fishing, practicing archery or washing gold in the Angertal.
Hiking
Hiking trails for young and old, mountain landscapes, mountain lakes and lots of opportunities to romp around. The ~Schlossalm is also a perfect place to dream and let your fantasy inspire you. If you look very closely there, you may discover hidden silhouettes between the rocks. These silhouettes seem to be those of mystical creatures like eagles or mammoths. For the older kids, there’s the ‘Silver Bullet’ climbing wall in Bad Gastein. This sounds like an exciting family holiday in the Gasteiner valley.

Fun in the snow with snowball fights, tobogganing and skiing are a must. Families are in particularly good hands in the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel and Dorfgastein ski areas. There you will find approx. 56 km of blue slopes as well as the Gasti snow parks in Dorfgastein and Angertal with numerous practice elements for playful learning. We also recommend that the little ones attend a course at the Bad Hofgastein ski school for even more fun on the slopes. Nothing stands in the way of snow fun for the whole family.
Family holiday
If you want to take a break from skiing for a day or if the little ones are still not exhausted in the evening, you will find adventurous toboggan runs in the Gastein Valley. The Aeroplan natural toboggan run in Bad Hofgastein is open both during the day and for night tobogganing. On the toboggan run in Bad Gastein, a stop at the Bellevue Alm is worthwhile.
