Whether dancing at the open-air stage, relaxing at the Alpentherme spa, or enjoying action in the snow for the whole family—there’s something for everyone here. Short distances, diverse locations, and the impressive mountain panorama make Bad Hofgastein special.
With a clearly recognizable retro outfit, the day ticket is available atthe Schlossalm, Angertal and Stubnerkogelticket offices for € 67.00 instead of € 78.50. Important: Accessories such as glasses or a cap alone do not count as an outfit – our ticket office team will take a close look.
The party weekends at the Retro Festival transform the Schlossalm, venues such as Hirsch & Maus, and the Schlossalmbahn mountain station into a vibrant hub full of retro disco vibes. Sun on the terrace during the day, energetic DJ sets, dancing, and after-parties in the evening—here, music, style, and joie de vivre merge into an unforgettable experience.
The chill-out area is the perfect place for a little break: enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere with a cool retro vibe and good music.
At the pimp-up station, glitter, rhinestones, and creative extras ensure the perfect look—and just the right sparkle for the festival weekend.
The Family Weekends at the Retro Festival transform the Angertal valley and surrounding restaurants into a colorful world full of games, fun, and shared moments—while children romp around, parents relax on the terrace.
What you can look forward to
Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in LUKE’S Wohnzimmer (Our tip: better safe than sorry. Start the day with a coffee or a small breakfast, and once you’re fully awake, treat yourself to a second, larger breakfast.)

Our nature spa is also a place of relaxation in winter. Thanks to the thermal water spring, you can swim through the winter landscape in our 32-degree pool.
Winter in the Gastein Valley means pure diversity: skiing and snowboarding on over 200 kilometers of slopes, winter hiking through snow-covered valleys, tobogganing fun, or relaxing hours in the thermal spa. A winter full of possibilities—for action and relaxation at the same time.
With a pool table, shuffleboard and a slide that leads directly into the playroom, LUKE’S Wohnzimmer also offers plenty for young and old in summer.
5 times a week, Christian will take you on his varied mountain tours. In addition to classic hikes, you can go snowshoeing and on guided torchlight hikes in the evening.
It’s not just your skis that are in good hands in our ski workshop. While enjoying a cool drink, you can prepare your skis for the next day with our tools.
On your skis, get set, go! From Sendlhofer’s you can easily take the ski bus to the surrounding ski areas of Ski amadé. One of the many cross-country ski trails starts right outside the door, and of course our house is the perfect starting point for countless hikes.
